Zuleika Kucera Master Coach Case Study

Certified Master Life and Enneagram Coach

“When I started working, I got introduced to team coaching…

…I was privileged to work with people that believed in developing their staff and managers – they had this policy in the company that they would train and coach their teams, their management teams.

So it was a hotel group and the teams in the hotels were coached as managers.

When I was introduced to the coaching side of things through my psychology training, I thought, “Wow, this is such a beautiful way to help people not dig into the past.”

I did a bit of research done and spoke to a couple of coaches that practice.

I was told to look at the ICF (International Coaching Federation) and found InnerLifeSkills.

And since then worked on my own coaching practice.

That opened up the opportunity for me, where I am not working full time for a boss anymore.

I can now focus on helping people to develop themselves, to learn about themselves, their partners, their children, their colleagues, and just get to know each other better and working better, being more productive.

When I was little, I wanted to be a psychologist.

That was the dream.

Having my own practice, helping people, that was the dream.

So when I started working, I got introduced to team coaching.

I was privileged to work with people that believed in development even 20 years ago and developing their staff and developing their managers.

And they had this policy in the company that they would train and coach their teams, their management teams.

So it was a hotel group and the teams in the hotels were coached as managers.

Which was, already back then, such a beautiful process – to get them to focus on goals, streamline their goals, work together.

I got involved with that back then, loved the process. And when I did my psychology training and when I was introduced to the coaching side of things, I thought, “Wow, this is such a beautiful way to help people not dig into the past.” And it’s got its space and it’s got its value to deal with trauma and all of that.

But I like the fact that coaching brings them – when they stop or when they get to the breakthrough in terms of counseling and psychology – they can now move forward and they can move forward with coaching, to look at the future, to look at what are my dreams, where am I at? Where do I want to be? And how am I going to get there?

Which is such a positive process more so than psychology would have been.

So I had a bit of research done, as the ones do – the Enneagram ones do – and spoke to a couple of coaches that practice.

I was told to look at the ICF (International Coaching Federation) and found InnerLifeSkills.

Looking back, I don’t know how I did Master Coach in six months, but I did. I decided not to stagger it. And I just went into it, did all of it all at once and qualified.

And since then worked on my own coaching practice and working on getting that going.

So that opened up the opportunity for me, where I am not working full time for a boss anymore.

And I can now focus on helping people to develop themselves, to learn about themselves, their partners, their children, their colleagues, and just get to know each other better and working better, being more productive.
